Mo 'Nique hosted a party at Londzell's Resturant
A few weeks ago I did a cake for Monique, she was hosting a party for the ladies at My Sister's House Battered Womens shelter. It was not only to pleasure to meet Monique but a greater pleasure to meet the ladies of the shelter. I had a change to give back a little if you are looking for a place to assist thats a great place to start.
The resturant Londzell's had some awesome music with some of the great local talent Atlanta is known for. I didn't eat anything so I can't say how the food is.
I will say if you want to hear a great singer please check out Sheryl Boyd on Youtube.com you will be blown away!!!! Then find out where she is going to be next you will be pleased....
Even the DJ was awesome Chico Renfoe Jr. his info is on my vendor page. I'll blog back in a couple of days about the Pattycake Cake competition; I had a long day out in field service today so I'm a little tired.
Here is a photo of the cake!

Junebug came to Visit Me! Chef Rachel Nobles Comes to Atlanta!
Rachel has been my pastry teacher over the years... she has helped me to understand what makes cake tick. Rachel is a natural born teacher, she also owns a personal chef business in Michigan along with her busy teaching schedule.
She's taught me so much when it comes to cake, its more than the decorating. Many brides have come into the shop and said "I want a cake that not only looks good but tastes good" Rachel is one reason why I have achieved that.

Atlanta Wedding Cakes
I loved the cake so much I couldn't leave it alone I stayed to cut it. I have to thank the Sweet Southern Ladies for the design and the help (I keep a copy of there book at the shop when a bride is ready to step out of the box)
Each layer was a different flavor from red velvet to chocolate fudge cake! Cathy Bell the Cordinator told me they loved it and there wasn't any cake left! Faune did a little dance at the tasting table saying her cake was going to be good, and there was no way I was going to let her down, but that's my goal for every bride! I also had the pleasure of meeting Fonzworth parents they were a delight! Even after waiting a while for me to finish up a tasting with another couple.
