IT'S 2011!!!!

Well everyone lets kick off 2011 with a bang! I wanted to show some cakes I did at the end of the year and already this year!
Elizabeth Cake with Flowers provided by Georgia Griffin with A Wedding In Silk
My first Baby bottle cake it was really big a lot of fun to make!
Classic Tiffany box wedding cake

This by far is my favorite grooms cake its a plate of soul food! The groom loves soulfood and this is what the bride asked for: we have a turkey leg, greens, candy yams, and cornbread all cake!!! OH yeah the napkin is fondant also

This the Snow Wedding cake it was shown before but I didn't get a shot of the cake on site, the bride sent this photo last week.

The Damask print cake... Fresh Flowers provided by Chirstine with Perfect Petals Foral

This was a cool color combo cake I did in Tiffany blue and latte and the cake is in buttercream!
Well that's it for now I have more pictures but I have to go to get baking!
This year I will be making some changes at the shop! I will be adding classroom space in Suite D for small class groups to come out and learn from some of the top decorators around. Ashley Vicos with Sweet Ashley's cakes has already stated she wants to be my first guest instructor! A carving class maybe in the future! I'll keep everyone posted!
Thanks for looking everyone!

Mo 'Nique hosted a party at Londzell's Resturant

A few weeks ago I did a cake for Monique, she was hosting a party for the ladies at My Sister's House Battered Womens shelter. It was not only to pleasure to meet Monique but a greater pleasure to meet the ladies of the shelter. I had a change to give back a little if you are looking for a place to assist thats a great place to start.

The resturant Londzell's had some awesome music with some of the great local talent Atlanta is known for. I didn't eat anything so I can't say how the food is.
I will say if you want to hear a great singer please check out Sheryl Boyd on Youtube.com you will be blown away!!!! Then find out where she is going to be next you will be pleased....
Even the DJ was awesome Chico Renfoe Jr. his info is on my vendor page. I'll blog back in a couple of days about the Pattycake Cake competition; I had a long day out in field service today so I'm a little tired.

Here is a photo of the cake!

Junebug came to Visit Me! Chef Rachel Nobles Comes to Atlanta!

Let me tell you about cake people when we find a good cake buddy we love them like family! I have the pleasure of having cake buddies all over the USA! Chef Rachel Nobles and her husband Chris came to Atlanta from Michigan to visit me on thier vacation! YES coming to see me was part of the vacation! I felt so honored. I call her Junebug, look at her isn't she as cute as a Junebug?
Rachel has been my pastry teacher over the years... she has helped me to understand what makes cake tick. Rachel is a natural born teacher, she also owns a personal chef business in Michigan along with her busy teaching schedule.
She's taught me so much when it comes to cake, its more than the decorating. Many brides have come into the shop and said "I want a cake that not only looks good but tastes good" Rachel is one reason why I have achieved that.
Chiristopher Nobles and Chef Nobles (cute couple huh?)
